Do you cut your own hair?

I shave mine bald (Wahl 5-Star) and follow up with a safety razor. No local shops that I know of, so those barber supply stores...

Trust me I'm all for letting the pros do what they do best. My thing is going to the barber for me is a 5 hour thing. It

1. First you make an appointment with this mofo for 2PM
2. It's about a 30 minute drive to this shop from where i live.. and thats driving 80 MPH
   
3. You show up at 1:55PM and he's not even at the shop.
   
4. Text him and he replies "I'm 5 minutes away" but shows up 30-45 minutes later
5. He shows up but tell you "yo i gotta get this cat first right quick it'll only take a minute"...winds up taking 30-45 minutes
6. Then this mofo needs a quick smoke break... 10 minutes at least
7. He starts cutting your hair but always jawing and talking to everyone else so he stops every now and then to talk to you or someone else about something. Haircut winds up taking 45-60 minutes

He my boy and we have some good laughs while talking shyt and waiting and all but something so simple as cutting hair should not take 5 hours of my day

u just described my whole barber struggle, I been cutting my own shyt for like a year now. It ain't a look for everynne but I'm a handsome nikka so i can pulle shyt like that off. I just cut it low and make sure my neck line ain't looking 2 low. fukk waiting for a nikka that don't respect my time and his hustle.

I was forced to learn living 3 years in hawaii and gettin my hair consistently fukked up by the barbers out there I'll tell you what tho, going to the shop after i fukked it up bad the first time was one of the most humiliating experiences of my life I'm decent now. But I'll admit it never looks barbershop fresh like it does with my barbers in jersey All I know how to do is even all around and taper the back and sideburns, and edge it all up. I cut my son too.
