Your Right to Discuss Wages
Under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), private-sector employees have the legal right to discuss their wages, salaries, and benefits with coworkers. Employers cannot prohibit these discussions, punish employees for them, or enforce policies that forbid wage transparency. This is considered "concerted activity" for mutual aid or protection.
