I've been trying to be more cognizant of donating. Couple months back I purchased some new slacks and didn't have the room in the closet to hang them. I bought them cuz I hated the slacks I got at Men's Wearhouse. Paid way too much at Men's Wearhouse including a tailor when I should have just went to Macy's and copped some that don't need tailoring. I dropped the old slacks off at the Goodwill. Hopefully someone else can use em, maybe on an interview or something.

To goodwill/salvation army/people in your family? My coworker sends his families older clothing to his family back in south America in a low cost shipping barrel
all the time. there's a number of used clothing donation bozes around my neighbourhood (mall parking lots, gas stations, etc). I usually do a seasonal purging of my, wifey and kids clothing, fill up some garbage bags and donate.

Also, we donate the kids clothing and good condition toys to the local used kids goods store. With bdays, christmas, etc, they have so many toys that they play with once, then forget about - lots of baby toys as well that they've outgrown
