Yea, before covid I was real heavy on Indian Buffets
Best way for an american to eat the food imo. Places like Tiffin and indian restaurants sell individual meals but I like the versatility of sampling mad options in buffet form
Like it's no way in hell I would have paid money for that cheese cube in ,that diarrhea looking, spinach dish (saag paneer) . but at the buffet i tried it and it was good as hell :ehh:
Good suggestion, I think it's the only way I've ever had it and sampled almost everything I could. Hell yeah that saag paneer is good, I remembered that the most tho couldn't name what any of the other dishes were. That said, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat it again, never get the urge. Just so many other cuisines I'd pick before it.

What are those 3 dishes?

A samosa is meat or vegetables in a triangle of pastry and fried. Of course the insides are seasoned with Indian spices and dips on the side are given.

The other two are curries, I can’t detail the difference in the two though.

Check Onion Bhaji too. That’s my fave, along with Peshwari naan

Every day :blessed: it's the main reason I love being Indian!

I'll admit our food isn't perfect though, we have a few areas where other cuisines are a lot better. Beef and pork being the most obvious dishes that Indians generally don't cook very well with. Desserts too in my opinion, cacs have got the best desserts by far. But aside from that, you can't change my mind, we've got the best damn cuisine in the world! :eat:

Also people complaining about smell etc. That's because you're ordering take away not home cooked. Take away is always saturated with oils and grease and stuff, so it's going to smell stronger. Also it is more likely for you to get sick eating at a restaurant than cooking yourself. Home cooked is a lot cleaner

My absolute favourite is stuff you won't find in any restaurant, it's got to be home cooked. The recipes are pretty easy honestly. You don't need any exotic spices, saffron at the most. Otherwise everything else you need would be at a regular supermarket.

This one is minced chicken with scrambled eggs, vegetables, and shredded flat bread, all cooked together :ohlawd:

And this is rice cooked in clarified butter, with some spices, onions and cashew nuts
