You're right, we as men hold convential logic at times even if it's to our own detriment. Part of it is that men have to be decisive and make snap decisions (good or bad) at times. I do think men downplay the inetelligence of women because our ego can't handle bBut I will say women tend to lean on the 'female intuition' card as a place holder for male logic. So we can come to the agreement to drop both of these things and have a more organic conversation without insulting each other then we can grow as a collective.

My sisters are smarter than me, no doubt about it. They just are one of them makes great logical choices the other not so much...Even the one that makes great logical choices (better than mine alot of the time) sub comes her hormones and makes totally irrational choices and opinion here and there for no good reason.


Dont get me wrong men can be emotional and hormonal as well. But that's hard built into women.

I think men are more logical in many areas except their dealings with women. All rationality falls apart with men when it comes to gender. You see men trying to justify behaving in ways towards women they would never allow for themselves. Their penis logic takes over and rational thought is gone. The reason for this is because men have a harder time making connections than women do.

As far as the brain goes, men evolved to be able to take the longer mental journeys through rational thought and logic. Because men are physically stronger than women they can afford more energy to actually thinking it out and mapping out the logical steps behind something even when in danger.

Women evolved as physically weaker so we rely on intuition more. We have to do so because times of duress don't allow for our weaker frames to provide enough protection to go through the rational thought process.

Scientists are now figuring out that women have a much greater percentage of white matter. White matter is the stuff in your brain that fires off messages to different parts of the brain. Women also tend to think with far more components of their brains than men do. Scientists have speculated that "women's intuition" actually comes from increased white matter or increased speed of communication between all components of the brain.

Whereas men go through the logic gray matter pathways to come to a solution, women arrive with eerie accuracy at the right conclusions but sometimes can't even tell you logically how they arrived there. Why?

It's pretty much a fact that women are emotional, irrational creatures. That's not to say that men are smarter than women or any of that gender biased shyt. There may be some women that are more logical than men or are exceptions in some way, but that isn't representative of the entire genders. I like this explanation. It's not that women are 'less' logical, it's moreso that I suppose that some women are more likely to react based on what emotion they're feeling on at that particular time, rather than analyzing the facts and going off that. Yeah gender differences in the brain are fascinating.

We trust our emotions more to act on them even when it seems irrational to do so. Why because usually they are usually correct due to these instincts actually having their origins in rational brain activity as a result of increased white matter or communication between the different parts of the brain.

So women aren't actually irrational or acting irrationally. It's just that they arrive at the answers w/o going through the logic process that men do.

Basically we evolved to bypass the lengthy logic process and act quickly yet accurately due to a lack of physical strength.

- men busting in thots raw knowing the system is going to ream them

- road rage & speeding (which men do way more than women, look at insurance rates)
- alcoholism and drug abuse
- taking unnecessary risks (men are way more likely to face an "accidental death" doing bullshyt like skydiving)
- our obsession with sports (male on female domesitc abuse spikes during sporting events/seasons)

Men are no less emotional or irrational than women.... we just dont know how to deal with our emotions, so we supress them and let themselves manifest in other, way more destructive ways and call it being "rational"
