I was at the Brooklyn nets game last night court side against the grizzlies. I treated my pops. Me and pops have our eyes glued to the game because it was close all game. It was a great game to see up close. I glance over, most of the folks around on cell phones and trying to look to cool for school. Then I'm apart of one of the clubs, the Calvin Klein club and it was packed! No one was watching the game. Just eating and drinking.

Whenever I see the NBA on TV, it looks like more of a social outing than anything else.

A lot of the people in the bottom sections got on their nicest apparel, don't seem to be into the game too much.

CFB atmosphere >>>>> as far as American sports.....defy anyone to disagree. This is my first and last year paying for NBA tix. It might just be a DC thing tho. Went to a Gtown game a few weeks back and no one was paying attention to the game. And it's damn near more fans of the other teams at Wiz games. Rather watch at home now

Your opinion of the in game experience is biased cuz the hometeam sucks...

TV doesn't really capture the speed or quickness these dudes have, you really have to see them in person.

Yep and on the flip side the game moves so fast in person alot of the fouls and contact you miss in real time game speed esp if you sitting on the baseline...so i understand preferring to watch games on TV...

I've been to numerous NBA games. Conseco, Phillips Arena, all star games, Bobcats, Mavs, Spurs, etc. All types of fanbases there but all fans weren't actually interested in watching the game. Like they were there for FB reasons or just to be seen and not root on the team or pay any sort of attention to the game. I've been to garbage CFB tesms games but the crowds were actively rooting and just having a good time

Truth..

You cant really tell how fast an NBA game is until you see that shyt up close.
my first time courtside was last year at a nets-sixers game. The speed of an NBA game is no joke. It really made me appreciate how hard it really is to stick in the league with the speed the game is played.

mane what the fukk you & denzel saying bruh .. hell naw.

anyway.. you should only pay for the time you watch an nba game.. like if u stay the whole 48 mins... 80 straight cash.. shyt.. the knicks will be getting blownout at halftime .. so you live 40 bucks. folks are leaving and they paid full price smh

Yo...this idea is good AS FUCC, cuzz!

Like...when you get to the arena, they give you a scanner card. You swipe the card at the gate and that starts your Game Meter. If you leave early, you clock out. Say you pay .35 a minute for a good seat, and .20 a minute for a cheap seat...

I'm not gonna front I had on my yeezys 2s and my polo and all but nikkas had on furs, leather python snap backs, Gucci this, gold iPhone cases. And not one eye on the game.

Like someone said earlier, tv does not catch how athletic these guys are .

To be real, the crowd overall was into the game. Especially the nose bleeds. It look like alot of fun up there. My row was cool though. I had about 4-5 guys who actually watch basketball on the regular so my pops was just talking about old stories when he played tournaments and about the old New York nets. But most were stoic to what's was going on.

I think it has a lot to do with the females.

Females come to NBA games dressed like they're going to the club, thinking if they're close to the floor they can get a baller

Therefor dudes look at the game as a place to meet fine women, so they dress to the 9`s.

Meanwhile in the NFL you're not that close to the action, you're in the outdoor stadiums usually and the girls there aint dressing like they're going to the club. Different atmosphere
