Do you ever yearn to play old games?

I regularly replay Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time.
Emulated of course, b/c fukk Nintendo for forcing me to pay a monthly subscription just to access games I've paid full price for 2-3 times.


Had the N64 carts for both and also bought both on Wii VC (on more than one Wii until I homebrewed it.) If the Switch offered something similar for retro Zelda games, I'd have happily paid for those games again just to play them on the go.

I also play randomizers of each game, which are actually really fun and forces you to look at the game's win requirements differently.

I find I play older shyt more than most of the new stuff. I feel with each new console I get less games for it. Though my retro collection has stalled a bit. It's fun coming across old games that I don't remember or never played and picking them up and playing them. I missed the whole run of the GameCube so getting to play that first time as a retro gamer was great.

One of my earliest go to games in the arcade was Power Drift which I haven't even thought about in decades.
It took me a full hour to find it on YouTube because I couldn't remember the name. Look up Sega 2D or 3D or Retro arcade racer and it doesn't come up

I then found out there was a port to the Dreamcast


Honorable mention to Rad Mobile, my local theater had this next to SF2 when that came out so I'd play the hell out of both.

I miss Soul Calibur 4 ranked. I used to literally toy with nikkas () and would be taunting my ass off after I knocked them out the ring.

Plus, Taki was so dope in that game. Can't believe what they did to her in SC6.

It can go up to 1080p docked. I got mine from Aliexpress a couple of months ago for about 250 with tax and shipping. That's before the tariffs tho I'm not sure what it cost now, it shipped from China
