Eh, when I was younger I would try to go mixed clubs. Didn't have a problem with hood spots but shyt would always pop off after the club usually. Some of the best advice was from a women I was dancing with one time at a "hip hop" night. We were dancing and she looked her phone and was like "welp it was fun dancing dancing with you but I don't stay past midnight"! So after that if I was going to a club I never stayed until close. Never got caught up in any drama.

Why do “hip hop” nights usually go like this?

Cuz it's nikkas. 99.5% nikkas be in this spot. It be 3-5 Latinos, a cac wigger or 2 but when you have a concentrated element of people like this you can't be surprised at the outcome.

Because hip hop night is usually on a Sunday or Wednesday for some reason. Now ask yourself who in the hell is able to stay up till 2am on a Sunday night and not have to worry about working the next day.

I’m miserable for not wanting to stand on a long ass line for 40 mins to get in, have security be on some xtra aggressive bullshyt, pay $$$ to get in even tho ima spend $$ at the bar, deal with the doorman’s phantom dress code policy THEN once I get in 75% of the crowd is on their phones

To answer your question no I never feel safe, I just stay aware, only place I felt safe were clubs in Miami where security has assault rifles outside the clubs
