You left out:9-5 implies you go into a place 5 days a week to at a job.
what i think you're getting at is people using it as some kind of insult and doing that goofy ass "i'ma boss, i can't work no normal lame job...blah blah blah" shyt.

They be on bullshyt at my job.I understand a 9-5 means you have a boss to answer to but is someone that works at a finance firm or tech firm making 100K+ a 9-5 worker?
Careers shouldn’t be labeled 9-5 even though a lot of folks who don’t have careers like labeling them as such.

Most these "bosses" are just contractors for uber or doordash. And they have the nerve to look down on 9-5 workers. They fail to realize the best way to start a real business is to learn from a 9-5 and get experience in your field then do your own thing.

You left out:
"I can't have anyone telling me what to do and standing over my shoulder all day"
As if every work environment is like UPS/Amazon![]()

No disrespect, but Black society allows our least educated to define words and terms we use to communicate with each other.
Because of this, we are stuck in a cycle of black people that cannot articulate themselves properly.
We got black people calling black immigrants TETHERS now. Please black people, try harder, please.![]()
I knew this was a matter of time. If the gov't requests back taxes for those transactions, these people are fukked. And anyone who is a "boss" know that the orders come from different sources..
Like the people who running a business, and getting paid through cash app or zelle, will realize that uncle Sam is coming for them heavy.. New law in place about to shut all of that shyt down.. Then they'll have a different entity breathing down their necks, telling them what to do.

I knew this was a matter of time. If the gov't requests back taxes for those transactions, these people are fukked.
But then again, they are "bosses", so they should be able to cover those costs![]()

9-5 basically means being an employee. We don't have to reinvent the wheel.I understand a 9-5 means you have a boss to answer to but is someone that works at a finance firm or tech firm making 100K+ a 9-5 worker?

We get off at 11pm. It is a long way from our work area to the parking lot. Do you know these muthafukkaz trippin because we start walking towards the front at 10:55
Talkin about we gonna start having end of shift meetings and taking head counts. They pullin' that dumb shyt during a pandemic when they got a bunch of ppl out with covid.
I've learned from experience a lot of those types of dudes are usually broke or unemployed and I'm not hating, I'm being real.9-5 implies you go into a place 5 days a week to at a job.
