Do you feel that some people especially in the black community use the term 9-5 too loosely?

Most these "bosses" are just contractors for uber or doordash . And they have the nerve to look down on 9-5 workers. They fail to realize the best way to start a real business is to learn from a 9-5 and get experience in your field then do your own thing.

I’ve Met Uber drivers who use the im a boss title lol.

How are they not a 9 to 5 worker?? A 9 to 5 worker is generally just describing someone in the rat race, working within a corporation. What you described is literally the definition of that.

Being that 9-5 is used to insult people I disagree. If you do something you are passionate about they ain’t nothing wrong with it. Also in many corporate jobs these days bosses are cool and laid back and let you do w/e as long as you get the work done. That image of a boss is old school shyt unless you work at dollar tree or something.

This is exactly what I’m talking about. Look at how they correlate 9-5 to. Hoes don’t know a doctor is technically a 9-5 lol or a lawyer lol and they probably make more money than the hustlers they know lol.

Hoes nowadays want a young dude under 25, having professional Lawyer and banker money. It takes time to be a professional in those fields; it takes zero time to be in loads of cash as a scammer.

To me, a 9-5 was a corporate job. Minimum wage, blue collar workers, or tradesman don’t work 9-5s. They work shifts. 7-3, 3-11, 11-7.

Most black people don’t even work 9-5s.
