I know it isn’t commonly thought of in that way, but if my parents had to pay (beyond just taxes) for me and my all my siblings to go to school….at least 2 of us probably would’ve been SOL :mjlol:.



Also as a jit, my ol boy gave me the ‘I had to walk 20 miles to school and then couldn’t even go no more’ speech a few times.

And you know that how?
Because there are a million different forms of government assistance out there even if they don't have the connotation of food stamps, Pell Grants and insurance. It's the biggest misconception about government assistance in general.

Those stimulus checks that a lot of people got essentially were a form of government assistance. The majority if programs that people partake in or have benefitted from over the years are forms of government assistance as that’s who sponsored the program.

Yeah I was on food stamps when I was down and out. Cats around my way were all high and mighty about using it but now me.....I walked into that building asking for my stamps😂 our money goes into it anyway 🤷🏿‍♂️

When I was in college I had a bridge card for a semester or two, and I did get Federal Student Loans if that counts.
