Do you guys buy extended warranties?

Yes only at best buy tho. Had a tv go out about 2 month before the 4 year warranty went out took it to best buy they tried to turn it on and it didnt come on, so they gave me a list of Tvs I could trade it in for. That Tv just went out and the 4 year warrenty goes out in march, this time since it turned on they are sending it in for repair, if they cant fix it, they will call me and have me pick out another tv. one that I will buy another warranty for. Also with best buy they send you options to extend the warranty before it expires, so my t'vs will always be covered, the warranty is cheaper than buying a new tv, so I cant see myself not having one.

I buy extended warranty ONLY if the warranty does not run concurrent to the manufacturing warranty...which it typically does.

Yup, I do. Especially if it's reasonable. None of that way overpriced stuff though. Some warranties are way too much.

Me either. Lots of retailers such as Costco and apple offer long standard warranties and excellent customer service regardless.

No PS4 out yet is outside of the manufacture warranty period yet so I fail to see the value
I put those on my PS4's sticks before they ever showed signs of tearing. Cost $6 and I bet you spent more than that on an extended warranty. Those extended warranties cost like $90 on a console. If you would have bought another Dualshock you would have came out cheaper.

You should never buy an extended warranty on a consumer electronic product. If your product is going to fail odds are it'll fail in the first year and if it doesn't odds are when it does fail it will be outside the extended period. I bought my PS4 with my American Express. They double the manufacture's warranty period for free as do most credit cards so I'm covered for 2 years at no extra charge.

I swear to you, I JUST ordered those yesterday cuz one of my DS4 started to show slight wear. My boy told me they r piff and I should cop cuz both his DS4 thumb sticks are now. The PS4 analog sticks are horrible. Everyone I know is experiencing severe wear on them. At least those are only $6 tho. Sony should be replacing those controllers in the spot tho.

It took a couple days to get used to them but now I don't even notice them. Honestly I really bought them because I have a Dualshock 4 synced to my PS3 and one to the PS4 and both are black so the stick color differentiates them. Blue on the PS4 one and black on the PS3 one.

yea, I noticed they have a set of white/blue and a set of white/black which is cool so you can tell the difference between your controllers. I don't even play PS4 all the time like that, and there's NO reason it should be showing any wear. my DS3's from years ago, have zero wear and tear, and they have a shytload of mileage on them.

but for only $6, it's not even worth contacting sony, cuz even if they honor that the controller is faulty, ur gonna have to send it in, and wait a month to get a new one anyways.
