But as far as actually having a physical devoted fanbase in our communities. I was just reading some Complex article on the kid not signing no major deal and in the comments some chick wrote
"Thank God his father called him. Who knows what would've happened. Everything would be different. Thank you God, and Chance and everyone who played(s) a part in any Chance production, for letting my ears enjoy pure music."
Which got me like
, I never met NOBODY who listens to no chance the rapper. And I know a myriad of people in these streets. Ranging from 17 - 35. Ive heard cats bumping Thug, ppl bump Travis, lil thots bumping A boogie, shyt even youngin's bumping Lil Yachty. But NEVER have I EVER seeen or heard ANYBODY bumping this Chance The Rapper kid. So for him to be having this gigantic "impact" and "effect" on the culcha.....I find it quiet odd how none of this translates...offline. Shoot its damn right
