i wont lie i wondered the same thing. i wouldnt be mad at him for wearing some rib pads or something in the very least. maybe a back layer to absorb the thumb tacks.

His wide back spread the impact of his bumps, so they wouldn't hurt as much. I doubt he'd be the type to wear any extra padding.
Having said that, he still took a lot of damage to his body and he's never really looked like he can walk straight or even stand up straight. Dude's gonna be a mess when he's 60 or so.

I attended his One man show when he was here and it amazes me that he has such recall of his stories and career given what he went thru. Hard not to have love for the guy (pause if for some sad reason that's applicable)

Foley jumped off his roof onto a mattress and survived which created a need to harm himself to fulfill that lustful pain rush he craved deep inside. If it wasn't for all the bumps and bruises he got from wrestling he would have been in the bdsm community to get his fix
