Do you hate where you grew up at? Or just not care for it?

I'm from florida and I pretty much despise my whole state

I remember the first time I went to ny thinking people were gonna be rude as hell too but it was the complete opposite, everyone was nice even random Asian people in the street I asked for directions. A Puerto Rican lady from the bronx took time out to ride on the subway with me to brooklyn cause I was a little lost. The chicks showed me hella love especially the Dominican ones , I had a good time overall. Got back to florida and things went to shyt, came back to the same rude ass people and ugly ass chicks with stank attitudes

You got your 10/10 Miami bytches to fukk with tho.

I don't have ANY diversity nor dimes where i live.

I'm from jacksonville I've talked to 2 Nicaraguan chicks from Miami and they were cool but Miami bytches are way too superficial for me.

I hate were I grew up. I unfortunately lost my job and had to move back. Seeing everyone doing the exact same thing they were doing before I left makes me hate it even more.
I grew up in those small towns were people don't travel outside of a 50 mile radius. You go to school, get someone pregnant in HS and then raise your kids to do the same thing. Bland country ass hicks. I'll be moving back to LA as soon as I can.

I'm originally from L.A., but did most of my grade school years in GA...

Asides from the few friends I have, I don't really miss Augusta. From what I understand, ain't shyt going out there. Was given a lot of shyt during school years due to being different. I'm belizean-american, and people weren't used to that kind of diversity in that area; the ignorance was rampant. It had it's good points though, sort of. I would be asked questions like "are you indian? are you from pakistan? etc," I would be called pretty much anyone popular that was of middle eastern heritage (from hadji to kumar to bin laden). After I left and went to other places, I didn't get much of that at all (every now and then I'd get the occasional idiot, but that was few and far in between)...I'd love to visit my friends sometime soon, but I have no intentions of relocating there....

My mom never used to let me or my sister go outside by our house. I don't know anything about the area or the other people that lived there. I miss the house that I lived in. I don't hate the neighborhood, but I also don't love it because I don't really know anything about it or anyone who lived there.

That reminds me of the first time I hit up NY with my friends in 2007. Then I came back to Pittsburgh and it was just the same old stagnant BS. I actually liked it before then and that made me want to just work hard to get out even more;

Coming back there for Christmas and Thanksgiving felt like going to Bizarro world after not being there for a year. Nothing has changed about it at all. That's when I realized it would never change and it doesn't want to.. I don't even care about making it better either, cause as far as it's concerned for me it's a lost cause.

I feel him on that. My parents sent me to exclusive private elementary/middle/high schools located outside of my hometown for pretty much my whole life. All of the kids in the school were from different towns all over the county and i usually chilled with them at their areas instead of mine. My own hometown was pretty foreign to me growing up. And honsestly, i don't give a shyt.

My mom didn't let us play outside by our house. We only got to go outside by our grandmothers house on the weekends and summers that we would go over there. We had to stay in the yard or in front of her (my grandmother)house unless there was an adult around to take us to the park or walk us to the corner store or something. They were very paranoid and over protective. I hated it.

I don't hate where I live. I just dislike it. Its too boring, bland, and country around here. Its also way too conservative and everybody here is way too religious to the point they lack common sense.
