Don't worry about it. Instead focus on learning more on your own. The more you know, the easier it is to find yourself listening to a converstaion where you realize "Hey, I know something about this..." and then you can add to the convo.
As you learn more and more stuff, and better familiarize yourself with topics, those conversations become more frequent until you are comfortable in any conversation.
