I mean...we are 12 percent of the population or some shyt...navigating and dealing with the enemy is part of our survival...

And I actually think...if Black people don't wanna be revolutionary in any way or engage in revolutionary politics and base building and etc...there needs to be more Black Republicans...that don't say the typical "pull yourself up by your bootstraps..." or be some sort of religious conservative or engage in victim blaming or race blindness...

But Black Republicans that uphold classical Enlightenment ideas and wish to uplift the Black race in true equality and don't mind using the government to get there...

Even though...I think conservatism is vapid and stupid...America is a center-right country and playing the game is necessary...

I do a good amount honestly, but I venture into political circles a lot.

Most blacks dk Colin Powell used to swim in mlk's pool. A lot of black dems helped Powell move up, same with Michael sterling.

An old head told me we are always going to need black republicans. You gotta be on both sides strategically. It makes sense honestly

I think the solution to the black community's problems lie somewhere in between black conservatives and black nationalists beliefs

There was a thread on here, I can’t look for it right now, about white people caring more about appearing less racist, than actually not being racist. Some white professor made a long twitter thread which was obnoxious to read, but very interesting.

The thing about white Republicans is, they want to be openly racist, then convince us what we’re hearing isn’t racist, and our reaction is the problem. The white democrats think the same things, they only complain when republicans say it publicly, because they know it makes white people look bad.
