Keef could very easily make a huge comeback and reinvent himself. Most these rappers coming out are around his age or a little younger.

But I doubt that will happen. He's too busy pouring lean on hoes and shooting shyt on fortnite.

I came into the thread to ask this, if yall thought he could make comeback into the ''mainstream''

It dont look like he wants, but he got enough talent to do it... guess he gotta lay off the drugs, fukk with some newcomers who make him wanna re-invent hisself

Juan Roberto's bald spot
th
Cac on twitter talking out his ass and never knew the ages of any hip hop legends...nikka never heard of Big or Pac huh?
this. Pac had made Keep ya Head up, been shot, made MATW, gone to jail, gone out of jail, made AEOM, sold a gazillion records, made 7 Day Theory, and gone dead and buried by 25 :whew:

he also made Juice somewhere in there too

and Poetic Justice

Yep that’s me. I was in high school when he came out so I was pretty much forced to vibe to Keef because everybody was bumping his shyt. Love Sosa was and still is HARD. He got a couple other bangers too, Love No Thotties, Decline, etc. He deserves his props as the godfather of the still movement, but he ain’t no legend.
Chief Keef's entrance in the game was the moment I knew I was too old for modern Hip Hop. I flat topped myself after seeing the "I Don't Like" music video. If you were 25 or older when he came out and you was fukkin with his vibe, hopefully you are more mature 6 years later.
:wow: I'm from the Chicago... yall should have seen/been here when he was buzzing and when he dropped dont like.. shyt was crazy brehs... he is a legend even if you dont wanna admit or not. Not in the sense of a 2pac and biggie. But something like a gucci mane. Them drugs messed him up. If he would of played by the rules and not got pills and lean so heavy he would be a big main stream star

I think he could if he wanted to, esp since most of the artists that have come out in the last couple of years are heavily influenced by keef and gbe. But like you said he doesn't seem to care.

How young was he when he came out, 15?

People say that but its mainly the AlmightySo Bang 2 era and onwards that these young soundcloud mfs imitate
Although in my opinion his best work was when he was relatively sober (BFTD, Finally Rich)
Gucci, Wayne, even Future all made they best work high out they minds
The thing that made Keef and the rappers people mention in his caliber special is that he was never afraid of experimentation, I remember 2013 where everyone, myself incuded, was saying he fell off because he switched his sound up but that new sound is what these lil nikkas took and ran with
Yall gotta appreciate what they gave us instead of making these what ifs

I'm still a big fan. But once he started to make mumble rap I feel like the quality of his music dropped. That's why I say he is a legend off impact and Influence alone. I just feel like his older stuff is better than his new stuff

Thats the thing. I mean I heard someone call Young Thug an OG in this and I'm dude has only been drinking legally for a couple of years. But then again its kind of always been like that. People forget when Moe Dee was battling LL Cool J he was contemplating retirement at 26 years old.
Thug is 27
