Do you know of anyone that had a successful permanent relocation from the states?

Most relocation stories that I have heard or read online usually end up with the person not feeling the country, too much culture shock, finances hit the wall, being homesick etc. You catch the drift.

.....but do you know of anyone that relocated permanently, settled down in their NEW country and only comes back to the states to visit? Also, which country was it ?

Yes. Know a few people that work remotely and live in DR and Colombia.

They were willing to risk catching coronavirus in those countries than being here.

They love it there. One lives by the beach and says he is living alot more happier than here. He isnt in a gated community, speaks fluent spanish. Knows the locals and says his sex life is incredible.
