Video game designer in Japan. Might have done some work for Nasa briefly. Dude was a math genius. We took some provincial test in grade 10, and he came back to class after cheesed. Said he didn't answer three questions for some reason and he knew the answer. Long story short, he tied 2 other people for the best grade across the entire province. He got a free scholarship to University of Waterloo on math alone. Funny thing was, he would stay up every night playing video games.

But the smartest kid who was a grade above me is doing something in Wall Street and founded his own company. He's a brotha too.

I'm not sure what the valedictorian chick is doing but the guy is working in DC for the government as a strategist. Cool dude, we were both in Band together.

My valedictorian was someone I'd literally NEVER seen before And I never saw them again

Same! I saw her two times -- on the first day of 9th grade and at graduation when she gave her speech white girl, like white white, going to a majority Black school probably was a culture shock. She got home-schooled and online classes.

I’m sure a lot of people were..

I was in my older sister HS classes and the smartest one there. But it also depends on the school, subjects, and other variables I feel.

I’ve definitely gotten less motivated to be any smarter than needed as I’ve gotten older

Niw that I think about it, a lot of it was about effort. I never wanted to be the smartest person in the room I just wanted something out of the class. At that time, I was trying to graduate early and was in classes that my sister and her friends were in with them copying my tests and everything. I was 14 in classes with 16 and 17 year olds. Not that crazy now but in HS its different.

Ended up dropping out of HS. Got a trade and alternative diploma, joined the military and finish top of my class in every school I went to because I wanted something.. more rank, more pay, best orders, etc.

There were people just as smart as me though. I grasped things I liked very easily and just put in maximum effort. I also helped people who came to me for it. It went a long way when I needed it

I at least somewhat was familiar with her prior lol. Back when I was a lot more sociable I went around and messaged some of the freshmen to get to know them before school started and she seemed cool. She didn't respond back to any of my messages after she left on the first day
