But we are going to live, save, spend, and plan as if my income is the only one that we have.

I'm not budgeting a lifestyle that relies on her income, that's not how I was raised

I prefer she works, but it doesn't have to be as many hours as me as long as she has a stable paying job. It shows to me that she can stand on her own to feet without being entirely dependent on me. Plus it shows ambition which is a major appeal to me.
