No I like silence. At most, maybe HVAC, but not one of those buzzy window A/Cs

We had an apartment on the corner of an avenue in NYC.... then had an apartment under some rowdy single dudes down here.... now that we are in the house we control how we sleep. Everything comes from a good night sleep.

your stars are but dust on my shoes
I spent a good chunk of the past year to two years sleeping with a film on in the background -- typically an old horror flick or something surreal. My tv/ android box typically turns off within 5 minutes of sitting idle, so it wouldn't run all night.

I've been cutting down on that habit over the past month and get much better sleep as a result. Not only do I fall asleep quicker, I feel much more well rested when I wake up too.

I would usually listen to rainstorms in headphones to fall asleep.

I like the drone of an AC and I like the buzz of an electric fan on a summer night too.

I like fan and white noise sounds when I sleep or when I'm working in my office at home. A coworker put me on to the Lectrofan, it works like a champ
