TBH 50% of the time if im listening to music i made it. Idk why but its entirely different listening to your own stuff, might just be because i make the music i like but i really enjoy listening to my own stuff more than most music. I was talkin to a friend about this an he said he does the same thing, after a while nothin satisfies my ears except one of my own good beats. Ive been listening through my library for about an hour now an im having the time of my life, this one beat ive listened to about 10 times today and im still not tired of it.
I love repetitive music, ad my beats are repetitive, and they put me in a trance like relaxed state....I have spent in entire weekends with my head phones on lying in bed and listening to my own beats on repeat...

I really enjoy my beats around 2 am and 4 am in the early mornings and late evenings...I find that EVERYTHING I make during those times just sound suer great...

But when I listen to the same beats at another time, I am like "what the fcuk is this garbage, what the hell was I thinking?"

I love my own beats, part of the reason is that I am hearing what I want to hear, but other people don't like my music...They say it is too repetitive, but that's how I like music...I want to be put in a trance...

I def listen to my music all the time. I like putting it in the mix with other industry instrumentals/songs so when I hear something from the industry and then it transitions into one my beats I can sometimes hear what I might be doing wrong when it comes to structure/mix/sounds etc or if it is up to standards with them. Or sometimes I like to rock out to my own ish'.
Thanks for the tip...
