it’s fragile and futile as fyck. There have been 100s of incidents that you don’t know about where you could’ve died already.

Sex leading to pregnancy is (numerically speaking ) incredibly low probability wise. And the fact that we are all a product of that miracle is a blessing

if you learn to remember that one day this movie ends with you in a grave, you’ll learn to appreciate every day you have. No need for the idea of “God” if you just understand how precious life is

My baby mom's is one of them Hebrew Israelites... I don't follow a religion.. so in her attempts to force it on me..I told her I'm not living my life in fear of someone or something that can't tell me he/she/it is here.. I don't feel that God does passive aggressive things that she believes is real.. like ohhhhhh he coming back.. look!! he got California on fire look at these wildfires that's the sign... I'm like yo.. do you not understand how wildfires work?? It's not like cities are burning down and mass amounts of people are dying I'm quite sure some people were affected but she making it seem like it was all out apocalypse.. Then I told her... If God is omnipresent.. how can he get mad and expect you to repent when he already knew you were gonna do it... It's like me showing my son the new Nintendo switch and getting mad that he wanna play it....

Then I rememberna conversation we had about Anthony Bourdain and suicide... She hit me with that dumb ass line.. he won't put nothing on you that you can't handle... So ummmm people that don't believe in God haven't committed suicide?? So she says.. they wasn't patient enough?? Lol So your God didn't know that day was the day huh?

So I realized the definition of insanity.. stopped talking to her cause the result was not going to change

but if I never lived it I'd never know which is why I don't bother trying to change what other people think

Living for self and not following a religion is two different things tho... Just because I don't follow a religion doesn't mean that I can't be a wholesome person and share my gifts with those around me... Just because I don't pray and follow a doctrine should not dictate who you are..


Sometimes I feel like religion is given to you as a kid just like Santa Claus or even your values and other family traditions(one of the first things a child does is say grace.. cause they are told to.. but do they no why they are truly doing it).. but what if we were given the choice to find it on our own?

I'm not one of them dudes that tell the next man what he should or shouldn't believe.. cause I do believe there is something out there bigger.. it's just certain common sense questions that I ask religious folk and the non sensical (sp) answers I get astounds me
