I'm 50/50 on this

1. These dudes are funding pimps, men that abuse these women. (This is the most important thing you guys are not mentioning )
2. Some guys can't get laid in a regular setting and they need help.
3. If you got a family, it's not worth the risk.
4. It's morally wrong.

1 Depends on the kind of arrangement. Sure those who seek out street prostitutes are most probably funding pimps, but there are escort agencies, quite a few of these agencies are run by women in fact who might well have hooked themselves in the past . Many escorts do it because they can't earn that kind of money any other way, and it suits their lifestyle.The majority certainly from what I read in the UK are not forced into it. There is a sinister side to the sex industry still, but if it was legalised and regulated I believe it would improve. Why it is still on the shady side of legality, it will attract unscrupulous people who exploit the women.

2 Many of these guys can get laid in a regular setting, the majority of the escorts clients are married men, sometimes they are single guys who don't want to end up paying far more if a non professional girl gets herself pregnant. Iam not condoning, married men who see escorts but sometimes there is fault on both sides.For instance If someones wife is withholding sex and we all know how skewed divorce laws are to men, I could understand it.
