This Angel Adams woman has 12 minor dependents (ages 11 years to 6 months) + 3 kids old enough to care for themselves == 15 kids . Are any twins/trips? 10 of them have the same dad, but he is incarcerated right now, so AA demands MORE govt benefits. DCF paid her $800/month rent for a while.

Nah, I don't look down on them. We've all used some type of goverment assistance at some time. As long as their using the benefits to better themselves then it's all good.

There's a lot of abuse. I worked at UDF, its like a midwest version of 7 Eleven, except it sells malts, shakes, and ice cream. Cacs would come in, and buy soda, ice cream, chips. The government needs to do a better job in wiening people off it. My family was on welfare after my father graduated from grad school. As a matter of fact, he, my mother, myself and my three other siblings had to move in with his parents after he gradutaed. I only look down on people who are abusing it, women getting knocked up multiple times, and just trying to live off the system. One of the reasons why welfare has become generational is that in the 80's, Reagan institued a policy where female welfare receipents couldn't have a male living with them to receive benefits. This lead to a glutony of single parent households. Theres a lot of people who work at Wal Mart who are on welfare, simply because Wal Mart keeps its prices so low by paying their employees squat. That should be something to think about the next time any of us are in Wal Mart.
