That's probably 'cause they got a lot of money that they feel is never going to run out.I work in the corporate world. All these dudes do is gamble lol...
If you are doing it everyday, and only spending 2k to 4k per year, then that means that you must be doing small bets everyday. That's not that much of a risk for 365 calendar days.Everyday. Prob spend like 2-4k a year on sports betting....
I don't know what it is. Personally, I just don't like leaving things to chance or losing money when I got absolutely nothing in return. I had some people burn me out of money in high school while gambling and the thought of it just never appealed to me wver again. That's probably 'cause they got a lot of money that they feel is never going to run out.

Or the risk is the part ue paying for lol. Losing feels the same as winning breh...Kiss the money goodbye.
Acknowledge you won't ever get rich off it.
Acknowledge losses as the cost of engaging in a pastime.
If you ever do lose big go away and lick your wounds for a week and think about what you've done before you gamble again.
If you ever win big, go away and spend the money on some nice stuff in real life and don't try to flip it into more gambling.
If you bet on games of chance or video or online slots/roulette, acknowledge that you prefer the act of gambling more then you actually enjoy having real wealth (these services wouldn't be offered if the house didn't average out laughing at you) and budget accordingly.
Also acknowledge you're moving like a victim.
