Happily married with kids, wouldn't change it. Although it wouldn't be something I'd take lightly if I did it again.
I feel you. You find the right woman and pow.kids happen. You think there nothing to it, but if you are intentional then it’s very difficult.

Wife and I are in a great space. Our issue is my job. I work overseas. I work 90 days and am home for 90 days. She doesn’t work so that great but she doesn’t have a great support system so she gets exhausted.

I can’t offer her anything but words.
:mjcry:
She ready to tap out now. Luckily I get home on Thursday.
:blessed:
Would we have decided to have kids had would have know how difficult this lifestyle would be?
:patrice:
I got an interview next week with a company in Cali. I need that job. Otherwise, we moving out here to Japan. We were thinking the summer but I might just be in January.

Life can be tough but I have the best person to enjoy life with.

This remind me of a post I saw on Reddit about a man who worked his whole life while his wife never had a job, stayed home and raised the kids.

Later in life she decided she was bored of the marriage as the kids were not grown and she resented him for never being home, she decided she wanted to split ways, found a new man etc and requested a divorce.

She ended up taking half of everything he worked for, and he ended up losing the family home, getting into financial issues due to lawyer fees. Then ultimately living in a 1 bedroom flat. One of them cautionary tales.

The game is the game. You pray you choose the right one. Anything can happen to anybody.

Idk if you know who Tabitha Brown and Chance are. My Wife can get her law degree and I can stay at home with the kids. She wants that for me and one day it may come to fruition.
:blessed:
Until then, our children will always have their mother available and when daddy is home they will have me.
:leon:
We are good until she becomes bored or “out grows” me like Tia did Corey.

Yeah, that whole the game is the game thing/ hoping you choose the right one don’t work for me.

Putting your faith in a woman is like trying to find an angel in hell. People change, people grow just them formalities of life. So chances are slim.

My advice would be to appreciate that woman and never stop.

This a wild question since most of us on here are late 30's to 40...btw I do have a wife and no kids...no regrets....I'm going to a bar to watch football this morning and going to an NFL game on Sunday....I never wanted kids :manny:

While I joke about the age of the Coli there's enough U35 posters to make the question valid in tandem with those over 35 who don't have both.
