Right I'm working on that. But in between time I still need to work. And some jobs have crazy qualifications. Now a days jobs don't want to train u. They just want you to know how to do it.

That's untrue, otherwise they wouldn't offer internships, depending on your job many like fresh minds because they haven't been molded. You'll be fine, tbh. So stop being negative.

What internship is involved when u are applying for a job? Until you get a degree you are stuck with shytty jobs because you don't have a piece of paper saying you can do something.

If you don't have a degree then how can you apply for a job that requires a degree? You can get an internship which can be used to gear you towards a job once graduation.

And that's untrue, it's your perception of the situation, as I stated in my OP I have a pretty cool job, I only get paid $11.88 but my benefits kick ass. You're complaining about something just to complain, you know it's temporary, yet you make it out to be something long lasting.

Btw Air Tower Control people make 80k or so a year, with no degree, electricians get up to 100K

I'm not referring to jobs that require a degree. I'm referring to jobs that have ridiculous qualifications that you can only get from experiences. Ex. There was a job at the dmv that required u to have a certain skill ( I can't remember which) but no one would have that particular skill unless they had actually worked there before. It's all boils down to jobs making so many qualifications to limit applicants.

Here's another one. I worked with kids in a school setting for 6 yrs but because I don't have a degree I can't be a substitute teacher. But the job is asking for a bachelors degree. Not even in teaching but they want 4 yrs of college. So most people know subs don't do jack shyt...why do u need a degree for that? They would rather hire a person with a piece of paper than hire the experienced one.

The sub was just an example. Regardless of the intentions on why someone would sub u still don't need all that to successfully do the job. And you know that. All they do is get the work from the teacher give it to the students and sit there.

What if they the teacher is absent for a long time? Subbing still involves a certain amount of teaching. Plus, why would I want someone who doesn't have a degree instructing my child to do anything in school?

That's called the extended subbing where normally they are gone for 10 days or more. In my area they seperate the two. It used to be that you needed a degree for that one but not the one or two day subbing. And I can assure you, you can sub without a degree. I had plenty of subs throughout school and none of them did complicated shyt.

I think got potential...but I don't remember the last time someone besides my mother told me so
