Do you really save money going to Costco or Sam's Club over the local grocery store?

I have a BJ’s:dame: membership but I don’t have a big family or anything. I bought a big ass case of toilet paper and I’ve had it for a long ass time. Getting shyt like deodorant and soap is great too because you know it’ll last long. Buying food in bulk would not be a good idea for me since it’s just me and the wife. We may buy certain things like drinks or snacks and shyt

Buy a vacuum sealer and a small deep freezer. Buy meat in bulk and cook most of your meals if you can

No , you save by looking at the weekly no gimmick ads to save on certain items . Those places have no deals

How are they with produce though? One thing I am hesitant with big bulk stores is that they are severely lacking quality of produce items

I normally go to Aldi where "fresh" produce isn't the best, so it is a bit unfair. Sam's Club and Costco are better in terms of freshness of the non-misted items being fresh and there's low chance of anything being rancid. Overall, it really isn't a major separator in terms of quality compared to say, your local upscale Kroger's umbrella store. You might actually have a better experience since they have better time separation to do stock.

I never got anything bad produce wise at Costco, but again they are pretty rigid in what they do for produce. Sam's Club I don't think I had a bad anything either but I have been disappointed in some overly-thick orange skins. I have had bad experiences at local/smaller spots.

BJs guy here but proximity plays a role. When I was home in SoFlo, BJs was literally around the corner and now in GA, it’s 15 miles so….

You'll notice the difference if you have kids. If you buying just for yourself it aint that much worth it unless you have the space to store everything for a long period of time. Between my son and my two step daughters Sam's has been a godsend. Even the pizza out they cafe be bussing and it's cheap as fukk for how big of a pizza it is.

Shop at Costco for certain things like toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, 100% cranberry juice, certain cheeses.

Seafood is all farm raised so I get that from Central Market instead. They'll have some big azz racks of ribs, chicken, steaks etc., if you have a big family or throwing a party.

The muffins and croissants are pretty good.

Good place to get snacks frfr. Those Kettle Chips with Himalayan Pink Salt :whoa: :banderas:. Get really high and then open a jumbo bag of those chips.....throw in their Kirkland chocolate covered almonds and praline pecans. Best "I got the munchies" snacks.

Its a case by case basis depending on your household. I personally think its worth it for the gas savings alone.

On top of that stuff like paper towels, laundry detergent, I buy twice a year and they ship to the crib for $6

The gift card savings are clutch too if you use uber frequently
Forgot about the gas. This is true

I'm 6'5 and work out 6x a week to add context.i buy. A mix of regular chicken breast and drum and organic, shrimp, salmon bulk and one case of the highest quality steak they have. All my veggies and fruits organic as well. I don't eat out at all other than rare cases with coworkers . So that price is low given the context
:ohlawd:Costco is heaven for gym bruhs
