Even aesthetically the American flag low key is mid/boring and clunky looking. It adds nearly nothing to style.
So many other countries got dope designs/colors, so I can see why other countries rep their's off pure aesthetics alone.

I always see other people (Puerto Ricans, Guatemalans and Nigerians) proudly rep their flags but the American flag gets no burn

Yeah. It's my country that my ancestors fought for. Why wouldn't I? It's my birthright. Why would I let a bunch of racists change my love for my country? It's my country too. Giving up the flag to racists ensures only racists have the flag. It's a weak mindset for cowards and fakkits.
I never got to travel outside of this country until I was an adult. it was an eye opening experience. I never really grasped the freedoms I had. and our version of poverty is not comparable to the 3rd world.

Putting a flag outside your home makes people less likely to rob it.
I used to love it until rednecks and White supremacists overtook it. I got family members and friends in the service, so I always repped them.
But I remember this one foreign chick I was with saw a car with our flag and say "Oh they must be Trump supporters, I'm scared"
That shyt was incredibly embarrassing. The stars and stripes across the globe became associated with White supremacists. I didn't even know what to say

I like the ideal of freedom and the US flag could actually live up to that one day. US Flag vs other flags, I am under US flag.
But it's more of a hope for the future cause the last has been madness.
