She visited my mother's house, and we have a folded flag due to my maternal grandfather being a veteran. She saw that and asked about it.

I rep the American flag!! Bruh if you’ve never left USA you don’t know how fortunate and blessed you are to live here. America ain’t perfect but it’s the land of opportunity for sure.

And no disrespect to any non Americans but yeah you see Africans with their flags in their bios, many Caribbean folk too but they never go to those places to live… very rarely move to their “homelands”… if anything they use their American status and money to visit those places or set something up which most don’t.

No country is perfect but I really learned to appreciate the opportunities, structure, laws, rules, some systems, some of the culture, history, blk history etc.
