they’ve saved my life once, but even if I hadn’t had that emergency, yeah. most of the firefighters I know were cool af and genuinely decent. not saints but definitely deserving of support. I do live in Memphis though so most of the dept is black

A good majority of DC firefighters/EMS are black and local. They actually crib kids straight out of high school yearly.
