We ain't there yet breh
Good point.
As far as I'm concerned, I've been a Knicks fan since 93

so yeah I kind of value sticking with the team even though times are hard. And I ain't gonna lie, it makes the whole sports experience much more satisfying when we finally started getting better. I like basketball as a sport, but I also like the passion: experiencing the Knicks win game 4 against Miami with other Knicks fans >>> That may sound pathetic, but it is what it is
I have the same when I'm playing pick-up, if I'm on a team that's constantly losing I'm looking for ways to play better, while some players are trying to "transfer" to a better team. I'm like
(Kinda why I can't really respect LeBron, but that's another debate).
Not gonna lie though, I do support other teams. It could be because of a player (Been a fan of Kobe since '07, Odom and Gasol too, so been rooting for the Lakers) but usually it's a style of play (San Antonio, Chicago), that defensive and collective style of ball. And I usually end of favoring one team or another during playoffs series, depending on the matchup.
But when it's all said and done, I'm a Knicks fan, no matter what.
The only beef I have with bandwagon fans is when they're all in your face like "We da best".
