as long as youre not just following the crowd and/or trying to run with the winning/popular team.

case in point, one of my favorite teams right now is the KINGS. along with the HAWKS, knicks & celtics.

i roll with the teams whos rosters cater towards wacky d's liking. sometimes they may be a lottery team(kings), sometimes they may be elite(celtics knicks), or they may be the hawks & nuggets.

We ain't there yet breh :to:

Sports teams = products for consumers

You niqqas are here instead of in Sohh cause Sohh is a bad product. Are you a bandwagon fan niqqa?

Good point.

As far as I'm concerned, I've been a Knicks fan since 93 :to: so yeah I kind of value sticking with the team even though times are hard. And I ain't gonna lie, it makes the whole sports experience much more satisfying when we finally started getting better. I like basketball as a sport, but I also like the passion: experiencing the Knicks win game 4 against Miami with other Knicks fans >>> That may sound pathetic, but it is what it is :manny:

I have the same when I'm playing pick-up, if I'm on a team that's constantly losing I'm looking for ways to play better, while some players are trying to "transfer" to a better team. I'm like :aicmon: (Kinda why I can't really respect LeBron, but that's another debate).

Not gonna lie though, I do support other teams. It could be because of a player (Been a fan of Kobe since '07, Odom and Gasol too, so been rooting for the Lakers) but usually it's a style of play (San Antonio, Chicago), that defensive and collective style of ball. And I usually end of favoring one team or another during playoffs series, depending on the matchup.

But when it's all said and done, I'm a Knicks fan, no matter what.

The only beef I have with bandwagon fans is when they're all in your face like "We da best". :stopitslime:

at this point the NBA has become nothing but entertainment. all that allegiance shyt left when Ledecision occurred on national television leaving the likes of Cleveland, the rest of the US and us Torontonians :smh:ing

I always gravitate towards liking teams I run with on video games or that have a link to me in some way.

My team is still the Raptors and Jays. But since 2k10 i been running with OKC and marvelling at Durant. Used to drop 30 on nikkas with Harden daily. And Westbrook stayed with the triple doubles. I was actually better with Westbrook than any other player in the game. Durant would either gimme 40 or 17 but Westbrook gave me a consistent 25-30 points, 5 boards and 10+ assists playing 2k. His mid range in 2k11 >>>>>. Right around the top of the key as if its real life for some reason. :ahh:

How can you play better than being a back to back MVP

100%.

Shows you're terry cloth soft, never wanting to go through a bad time. Type of dudes want to eat cupcakes all day

Please STFU. Its just sports which is nothing more than entertainment.

They just as bad as nikkas who try to prove how much of a fan they are

I don''t really know anyone who does that, usually you can just tell by if you know someone, you know they're a fan of a team if they're a die-hard, shyt is obvious

I do not know any discreet and subtle die-hard fans
