These are my top 3 foreign songs:

spanish (it was on an episode of the Shield and played while the main character was brutally beating the hell out of a Mexican :wow:)

Never has police brutality sounded so good to my ears :whew:

arabic (it was on an episode of Moon Knight, and it was just such a hauntingly dark yet beautiful song and I fell in love with it :wow:)

japanese (from Cowboy Bebop, what y'all nxggas know about this :wow:)

I used to put this on in the whip and rock out to it like a cac :wow: :wow: :wow:

Y'all brehs are NOT worthy :wow: :wow:

And neither am I :wow:

And oh yeah, can't forget about Nujabes :wow: :wow:

Wow I thought about making this thread earlier 😳

It's Portuguese I believe and I can't make out what they're saying but it sounds delightful.

A'ight, funny story about this song!
So in my company's group chat a co-worker dropped a portuguese meme with this song, and forever changed the way I hear this song. :russ:
So the chorus goes like this:

Tem gente que chega p'ra ficar
(There are folks that come to stay)
*The non-ambitious people that come and are actually happy with the conditions*
:what:

Tem gente que vai p'ra nunca mais
(There are folks that go to never return)
*Employees that been got another job and just go ghost*

:lupe:

Tem que gente que vem e quer voltar
(There are folks that come and want to go back)
*New employees that thought the job at our company was gonna be better than their last but were dead wrong*

:russ:

Tem gente que vai e quer ficar
(There are folks that go and really wanted to stay)
*The odd employee that would've stayed for the vibes at the office, but needed a bigger pay*

:wow:

Tem gente que veio só olhar
(There are folks that come just to watch)
*Upper-echellon management, auditors and overseas supervisors*

:mjpls:

Tem gente a sorrir e a chorar
(There are folks that laugh and there are folks that cry)
*Corporate reality in a nutshell*
:pachaha:

Your post brought me back to that day we went off about how this song was definitely made with our work-place in mind. :russ:

Further proof this board is nothing but tethers

We don’t listen to music unless it’s in English.
