Most of the Coli is old asl, so yall probably don't say it either :russ:, and the word wasn't as often used back in the 80's-90's but man I went to a mostly black middle school from 10-14':russ:, first year of a Freshman year before I moved was half black students as well:mjlit:.. and then when I moved to the UAE (which yall dumbasses think theres no black people) there was still black/African kids like me:yeshrug:

Rarely. Grew up hearing "brotha" instead . It wasn't until the early 90s that I started to hear it out and about.

Death Row made it "in" for people to say it. I grew up in Sac and around the Bay Area during the crack era. Never heard it then. My parents would've kicked my ass if I said it anyway. It was a very derogatory term to them.

I also grew up going to school as the token until the 7th grade. I wasn't trying to say it around the white friends I had. I didn't like saying the word already and it made me sound illiterate.

Today ironically, if its not in a rap song , or in a derogatory term (i.e. bytch ass nikka) I don't use it.

People dont know That history. Death Row made it cool to say that word in everyday life.

I use to but then I thought it one day and thought about some other folks that would say it in locations I'm like why are you talking like that here. In addition to some other things, I'm just like nah. No enthusiasm to really to say it anymore unless its with family and on some special situation.
