Do you sometimes feel like a sucker doing 9-5?

Anyone with a 9-5 is a sucker really. We are all the n the rat race and have been conditioned to fight each other for crumbs while the wealthy CEOs laugh at us.

You have to work cuz you have to pay off your debt cuz you’re conditioned to spend!

It’s a beautiful con. Set the carrot just close enough for people to think they’re getting ahead when they really aren’t.

Capitalism don’t give a fukk about you or me. Just keep working or you’ll be replaced.

Find a secondary source of income.

I don't give a fukk
All jobs end up sucking and making you feel some sort of envy for people that do something else

shyt even NBA players and other athletes go through it, yeah you make millions but at the absolute cost of your body, mind, and dignity, for the eyes of hundreds of thousands to millions to mock

Best thing you can do is work the most tolerable job you can get be it your own shyt or for somebody else, keep that shyt at it's own table and enjoy your life outside of work as best as you possibly can
I make a little less than I did a couple years ago. However, I've shaved off at least 2 - 2.5 off my daily commute, plus I get off @ 4pm daily, which leave plenty of time to do what I want to do afterwards....and with the energy. The work content and environment are much better as well.

I can easily land another position somewhere else that pays more, such as downtown or some suburb on the other side of the county. It's just not worth it. It's an overall net negative.

I wouldn't mind 9-5 if it was more flexible. Let me work 4 10 hour days and have 3 day weekends. I'd be perfectly content with that. The 2 days we have are too damn short, whether you're productive or lazy.

I been trying to figure out a way on how to get out of this sht. I don't know how, but there's gotta be a way.

nope

Work 7-3 5 days a week
weekends off
holidays off (paid)
summers off (paid)
love what I do
Teachers have the sickest benefits of any profession. Usually home by 5, weekends off, summers off, every holiday off. Summers you can basically spend your time traveling, pursuing other hobbies, slacking off all while getting a paycheck. :banderas:

Nope. I feel like they're the suckers, for paying me as much as they do, when all day today I've barely done any "real" work. My job is very flexible, we get plenty of perks, like free food every other week, etc. I mean, I guess it depends, but nah I'm perfectly content doing a 9-5.

Yep, the object is finding the 9-5 where you're basically finessing them. :ehh:

I done cooked dinner, watched TV, got a nap in, cleaned my kitchen, and that's only today :pachaha:. Who knows what the next hour holds.
