I actually said a bunch of times that I am behind his message and fully support what his message is. All I'm saying is that by sitting down he's losing THAT message because its being covered up by everyone's preset feelings about what the Flag represents to them.

and you can't say I'm wrong either because NO ONE is talking about what his message is and just how he sat for the flag and what that means to ppl.

Here's some perspective for you - If you putting your hand over your heart and pledging your allegiance to a flag (or anything),
that's an act of worship. You can appreciate something and not worship it.

honestly, every country, every culture has traditions. Some are stupid and make no sense, some aren't. I'm just pretty easy going I guess and as said by someone else "do as the romans do"

When I went to the Congo, and visited ppl there I followed their customs and traditions and ate their food, when I went to he middle east I did the same there, when I went to Asia I did the same there, and even when I was in Europe I did the same.

It really is a small thing just to be courteous and respectful. Everyone tries so hard to be all cold and hard and "real"

Was at a Yankee game on Sunday...I'd say roughly 90% stood for the anthem...I stood and removed my fitted and continued my conversation with my son while the anthem played...Most did the exact same thing...

There was a Puerto Rican dude sitting eating his chickenfingers in the row in front of me and nobody gave a fukk...

It's really not that serious unless they put you on big screen...
