This is the first time LeBron has objectively been playing better than him in years.

How? Bron beats him in pretty much every category and the West is no better than stopping Bron (as an individual) than the east. The narrative that east is that weak is lame too. The West is one or two teams head and shoulders better than the rest of the league and then nothing.
