Do you still call stadiums by their old names?

The 2025 MLB All Star Game is in Atlanta.
I didn’t realize it because the Braves play their games in “Truist Park”. I grew up calling it Fulton County Stadium.

To this day I still refer to Citi Field as Shea Stadium. Old habits die hard.

I’m sure it’s the same with basketball fans who still say the Sixers play at The Spectrum.

Arenas and stadiums being named after sponsors sucks.

some of the stadiums you named are legit new stadiums, so no reason to call it by the old name

some:

Progressive Field will always be the Jake to me

If I still call MetLife Stadium Giants Stadium, I'm not sorry. It's their home, not the Jets.

Crypto.com smh Staples forever

Daikin Park sounds too much like Dyckman Park :camby: Minute Maid Park or Ten Run Field for the Astros

Rocket Arena = GTFOH, Gund Arena

Moda Center = Rose Garden, fukk is a Moda

American Family Field :dahell: Miller Park, messing with a good thing.

The Astrodome was a phenomenal name.
They really blew it.

None of these are stadiums with new names, these are all replacements. :mjlol:

Braves left Fulton County Stadium for Turner Field, then left that for Truist Park. That's the worst example, it got replaced twice.
