I don't think it will do anything really. Unless you went with mines, 24/7 guard towers, and field lines of wrapped barbed wire. Also can't forget shooting anyone who approaches on site. Sadly it would be effective to some degree but is immigrating illegally to a country deserving of a death? I don't think so. Also you will see an increase in tunnels.

Why should I care about a Mexican? They don't care about me or my people. Never have. I would love to see ALL illegals deported. Not crazy about a wall because it almost seems prison like. Im not totally against it though.

If the two countries agreed to mutual open borders to each other's citizenry then I would be for that.
