Yeah BJJ brehs that use it as a 2nd martial art are usually smart. The ones that start off on BJJ can be delusional as fukk. Their technique works on people that can't fight but really underestimates what someone with good standup can do....especially if you don't have experience getting hit and avoiding hits to your face and body.

Go to the nearest boxing gym close to you & tell them you want to spar the smallest flyweight for 5mins with no headguard in 6oz gloves.

Quick update: I just went to the Y and sparred with the smallest flyweight one handed.

I took boxing through my teens. Those lil muthfukkas are extremely fast. Like the gloves slow them down. In a bareknuckle fight they could pop your snotbox 3 or 4 times before you even realize the fight started.
