Vs raising a fatherless child in some cases? Just a random thought I had after my brother text me this morning in his feelings again about our father not being in his life. We have different mothers and our dad was married to my mom when my brother was born and 4 years later I came along. I have never really asked my parents for details, but obviously my pops cheated on his wife (my mom) and had a baby with another woman and was trying to save his marriage with my mom. I'm not making excuses for my dad, but I can definitely understand why he really wasn't in my brother's life I mean he was a married man trying to save his marriage after getting a jump off pregnant. Anyways my brother is 31 years old and this shyt is STILL eating him up inside, and his life has basically been a wreck because he feels like he has no one, but myself and our other siblings.
I also have a female friend who had a baby by some nikka out of wedlock and he's all on Facebook saying the kid aint his and shyt and I just be thinking like damn that kid is probably going to have issues because his dad doesn't want him and his mom thinks she can do it all by herself. I just don't see why some mothers would want to hurt the father by keeping the baby when the baby is the one that will go through their whole lives hurting, and feeling not good enough/not wanted by the other parent. I had both my parents so I really can't say I understand my brother's feelings but I can definitely tell it really hurts him to the core that my pops isn't really close with him. What you guys think? is aborting the baby in some instances actually helping the baby by not having to be here and being fukked up their whole lives?
