To me this answer makes sense because I believe something very similar I would have gone about it slightly differently though. No one is asking for pure socialism imo.
The issue with socialism, as I see it, is that everyone thinks their particular version is the one that will work because they acknowledge "pure socialism" (re: actual socialism) is utopian and impossible (as Marx said). So, they skirt that by saying being a socialist is "relative", and it devolves into an incoherent code word for nothing at all other than being "woke".
Socialism is the antithesis of Capitalism (again , Marx's words). They are incompatible with each other unless you start changing definitions....at which point youre more concerned with being indentified as a socialist than you are with actual socialism...I'm sorry..."pure socialism".
I mean, what exactly did she say that you are in agreement with? All I got was that current socialists can't agree on what socialism means, but to her it means "democratic economics". Really? Charles Fourier is rolling in his grave lol.

Because we don't. What we have is historic wealth inequality. So, rather than laughing, maybe go read up on what socialism is. It's not just government funding for social programs....unless, of course, you're a new age socialist with a "relative" definition...in which case, good luck with that. You're only reinforcing my point.How are they incompatible if we have a mix of the two right now?

Nothing what she says is organic, her support isnt homegrown. All of her talking points and things like the "Green New Deal" were in place before she was ever elected..they are just using her to push through their agendas

I don't know anything about her. I am glad she's spicing things up and bringing diversity... and all that.
But this green new deal of hers sounds like some comic book ironman man of the future type stuff. It's absolutely unrealistic.
