Somewhere tropic...
I'm unmarried and have married men as my subordinates :mjlol:
Like I said, it's an antiquated way of thinking business wise
Most tech startup millionaires are single
Politics I get, cause image plays a big factor

Try being president without a wife:mjlol:

Yes married men get more respect, and rightfully so.
Nobody respects the president. Every president we’ve ever had had been made into memes and jokes. That’s respect to you? Just say you love these hoes and keep your mouth shut before she take half your shyt, simp.

Black men that are married? Do you find that since you got married you get more respect with other groups of men also has it benefited you in the job market?
Yes. It's like this for any group of men.

It's these damaged women who are trying to take the pressure off of being married and having a family.

Yes in the corporate world. It implies stability, maturity, responsibility, etc. It's why it is basically an unwritten requirement for politicians and what not to be married.

Yes in the dating world too. As said before, the number one quality that makes a man attractive in the eyes of women is that man's ability to attract other women. That ring says somebody found you attractive enough to spend life with.

Is it an outdated way of thinking? Maybe, but that's how society thinks about it.

It does for men in general in certain circles, especially among professionals. People give you the benefit of the doubt when they see that youre married. It implies you have some sense of responsibility/maturity and must have some decent qualities if someone willing to marry you

Lotta those assumptions might be bullshyt of course but it is what it is
:manny:

This is true.

Women trust you more, in my experience. Especially if you appear to love your spouse...they relax a bit around you at work.

A 25-year old dude? Doesn't matter as much. A 35-year old dude? People will look at you sideways. Not saying they should....but single and older, never married and no kids....folks will assume you're gay or shady in some way.

Single fathers? They get a lot of puzzy just based on the few dudes I've worked with in that situation. Proves you're responsible but you're still available.

Absolutely. But this goes for any man. After a certain age, people look at you funny if you’re unmarried in the corporate world. Might be a stability thing.
