Yeah but he lived in Cali, was signed to a west coast label, worked with west coast rappers on the project, and got the thing produced by a west coast producer. Then after he had that accident he continued to live in LA and write lyrics for west coast rappers. No One Can Do It Better is a west coast record even though DOC originates from Texas. It's like saying All Eyez on Me is an east coast record
Not really. He only lived in Cali for a few years then moved back to Texas around 96. It's not like a pac situation plus he was still repping Texas. Even though it was produced by a west coast producer it doesn't mean it's a west coast album. That's like saying Cubes first album is an east coast album because he was living in New York at the time and that it was entirely produced by the bomb squad.
