.........but Gangsta rap wasn't popular because of black people. It's not like most black kids wanted to be gangstas back thenIt was popular because white kids were living their fantasies through something they never experienced before. Once these white kids became desensitized to the shock of it, Gangsta Rap was no longer popular as a mass produced and consumed product.
