I have to say sometimes when I talk to older people and they say this, inside, Im just... That's it for life huh? 250k over 18 years, all your free time and ambitions gone for that? Nothing wrong with settling down but does that mean giving up?

Because I feel like 95 percent of people that want kids can get them. Of course there are people are have to work for years because of fertility issues but that's not the point.
