A huge amount of Xbox 360 gamers moved to PS4 and are still in the Sony camp. Do you think after the Microsoft conference on Sunday, they’ve done enough to bring them back from the Sony camp?

Right now the Series X is a continuation of the Xbox One; Gamepass, western RPGs, shooters galore and generic looking games. Those that didn’t like the Xbox One have no reason to ditch the PlayStation eco system and move to Xbox.

For Sony, the PS5 is also a continuation of the PS4 but unlike Microsoft, Sony can afford to do the same shyt as it made them very successful.

I say this every year.

The 360 gamers that they “lost” were never 360 gamers

Most of us had PlayStation 2’s

Sony took to long to come out, 360 innovated the online console space, and when ps3 dropped they apparently thought 599 was a great price ….

by the end of the gen must of us had already went back to or bought a ps3, ps4 E3 was the icing on the cake

Basically brother the 360 was just a rental

Xbox is really a platform for hardcore fans and some casuals. I don't think anything MSFT ever does will make Sony fans buy a Series X. If you notice it's way more Xbox fans who also have a PS5 but not vice versa where someone's a hardcore PS fan and they bought a Series X.

If you look at the top selling games, they're the hood staples such as COD, Madden, 2K and the occasional AAA title. Those titles usually aren't on Gamepass so they get sold the most on PS anyway.

Most of these games aren't going to be on Gamepass anyway so a PS gamer has no real reason to get an additional console.

Wrong, I was a day one Xbox owner with the Duke controller. A lot of people I knew who copped the OG Xbox were Dreamcast refugees, JSRF, Otomi, Panzer Dragoon.

Copped the 360 off the strength of Gears. Multiplayer and never even copped the the PS3, but after that Xbox One showcase at E3 I jumped to the PS4. Xbox no longer have the games I want to play or they crippled franchises I once loved.

So are you saying you didn't ever have a PS2? If so, how old are you?

Excellent point. If Sony had never fukked up the PS3 like they did, the 360 wouldn’t have been as huge as it turned out to be. When Sony is on its game, Microsoft doesn’t have a sniff.

Nope, Dreamcast>Xbox>Xbox 360>PS4.

I bought my brother’s old ps2 just to play Vice City, only game I had on that console.

Old enough to drive 20 miles to wait inline at target get the OG Xbox after graduating high school.

Disagree. Online gaming was basically created and nurture by 360. It was going to be big regardless
