own as in have the most hype and excitement around it? I think it will. let's face it SF4 is a 7-year old game...no amount of re-releases will change that. its old. MvC is getting long in the tooth as well...

Nah. I don't think it's getting a night time timeslot for its Finals. Probably gonna end the night on Smash Bros WiiU and then SFIV. MKX is a fukking good game though, but with some design philosophy flaws. MK11 has potential to be that MK game that lasts years if Netherrealm fixes everything thats wrong with MKX. And there's not much wrong with it, just a bit too much reward for corner rushdown and 50/50 mixups.

It's kind of in a league of it's own in terms of being a "fighter" tbh. I don't see/acknowledge nikkas tryna compare it to SF and Tekken or shyt like that but people can and will argue that it has it's own competitive merits/value. People just can't accept that a Nintendo game can be just as/more competitive than other games.

Honestly, the Smash community should be getting the most respect among console competitive titles for being able to bring Melee back as an actually serious contending game at EVO.

there's so much more money on the line as well for SF at EVO. SF is always going to have it since Capcom is also going all in on show casing their games by hosting their own tournaments.

MKX has already lost a lot of steam. Has been getting less and less entrants every tourney.
